Edward Naylor passed away peacefully on April 11, 2017. He was born in Denton County, Texas on July 17, 1924 to Carl H. Naylor and Ruby Thomas Naylor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two older brothers, Grady and Howard.
He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Jeane Naylor; daughter, Cynthia Taylor (Ted); sister, Eloise Fallis; grand-daughter, Alison Dittmann (Dennis) and great grand-daughter, Bentley Dittmann
Edd proudly served his country as an airplane armorer and tail gunner during WWII flying in 20 combat missions in a B-25 bomber over enemy territory in Japan. He worked over 35 years as a tax accountant for Mobil Oil Company. A gentle man of integrity, Edd enjoyed gardening, traveling with dear friends and cheering for his Dallas Cowboys. He was a Mason and a Shriner as well as a lifelong Baptist who enjoyed singing in the church choir and later playing harmonica for residents at Mt. Carmel. He will be missed for his example of strength and character and for is devotion to his loving wife, Jeane.
