Connie Jean Mills

Connie Jean Mills, 75, of Hot Springs Village passed peacefully October 5, 2022. Connie was one of three daughters born to the late Elza and Irene Shull. Smart and independent, she lived with her family in Effingham, Illinois before attending Eastern Illinois University where she earned a degree in education and met her husband, Dave Mills.

An avid gardener, Connie cultivated many varied plants and flowers around her home, as well as, her indoor solarium. She also cared for countless kitties through the years both as a foster and as a forever friend. But it was her family of which she took the most care. Connie will be dearly missed by her husband, Dave Mills; son, Dave Mills, Jr; daughter-in –law, Jenny Rushing Mills; grandson, Holden Mills; and sisters, Sharon and Carol.

Burial at CedarVale Cemetery was private.
