David Lee Smith

David Lee Smith, 75, of Hot Springs Village, went to be with his Heavenly Father on August 17, 2020. David was born February 10, 1945 to Charles and Virginia Smith in Wichita Falls, Texas. David served in the United States Marine Corp. He graduated from North Texas University, received his Masters of Science from University of Tennessee, Master of Arts from San Francisco State University, and his PhD from Newburge Theological Seminary. His professional life varied from being a financial analyst and writer on Wall Street and other financial ventures during his life to serving as a Department Head at the University of Tennessee. David is preceded in death by his parents. David is survived by his loving wife Virginia, sister Deborah Garcia, and brother Donald Smith; children, Donald Smith, Andrea McWilliams, Spencer Smith, and Catherine Smith; and five grandchildren. A Communion Service for the deceased and vault burial will be held Saturday, August 29, 2020 at the All Saints Anglican Church in Hot Springs Village at 10:00 AM.
