Donald Richard Pilz

Donald Richard Pilz, 89 of Hot Springs Village, went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 18, 2021. Donald was born October 13, 1931 to Richard and Jane Pilz in Freeport, PN. Richard was a pilot in the US Airforce, he was very active in the Woodworking Club in HSV, Donald and Vera enjoyed traveling and hosting the Evergreen Club guest, and members of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Donald and his late wife were very active in performing countless charitable acts for family, friends, and neighbors.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, wife Vera May Pilz of 65 years, also preceded by 2 brothers, Cyril Pilz and Dale Pilz. Donald is survived by 2 sister-in-laws; Marjorie Pilz of Hillsboro, California and Norma Donahoe of Hardy, Arkansas, brother-in-law; Billy Chance of Normangee, Texas and several nieces and nephews.
 In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church or Hot Springs Village Woodworking Club. The family would like to show their appreciation and give a big thank you to Good Samaritan and Arkansas Hospice. Services will be held on July 23, 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village with internment following services at CedarVale Cemetery.
