Freddie Ann Meyers, 76, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away October 29, 2020. She was born July 16, 1944, in DeWitt, to Albert and Dean Pike. Freddie attended Fountain Lake High School and later went to beauty school where she became a cosmetologist and shared her beauty with multitudes of clients who became friends and extended family members to her over the years. Freddie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Chris Meyers, who died just two days before her; her parents; her brother Albert Eugene Pike; and her grandson, Zachary Bennett Bowden. Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Daves; sons Kenneth Childress and John Howard (Bridgette); stepdaughter, Kristin Meyers (Rodney); grandsons, Braden Echols (Lesley), Drew Dickson, Aaron Bowden, Ryan Bowden (Ashlee), and Joshua Bowden; granddaughter, Olivia Howard; and great-grandchildren, Nicole Atalie Bowden, Ryan Zachary Bowden, Pearson Allen Massey and Isaac Echols; and her six sisters. A celebration of both Freddie’s life and the life of her late husband, Jerry, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center, 2529 Airport Road. It is kindly requested that those in attendance of the service wear a mask and practice social distancing.
