Gary Mccamey

Gary D. McCamey, 77, of Hot Springs, AR, passed from this life April 4, 2022. Born in Velasco, Texas, he is predeceased by his father R. L. McCamey, mother, Pauline McCamey and brother Wayne McCamey, all of Orange, Texas. He is survived by Eunice McCamey, a brother Thomas McCamey and wife Maureen, a son Shawn McCamey and wife Maeda, a daughter April (McCamey) Becker, and husband Matt Becker, four grandchildren, Cameron McCamey, Angelica (Becker) Allen and husband Rosco, Bruce Becker, Elizabeth Becker and great granddaughter Aria Allen.

Gary grew up in Orange, Texas, a graduate of Lutcher Stark High School and was a member of the Church of Christ all his life. He resided in Mountain Home, AR, for the past 17 years before moving to Hot Springs in 2021. During his 77 years, Gary worked as a mechanic, preacher, missionary, Licensed Vocational Nurse and a sail boat captain.
