James "Jim" Tanner

Following a lifetime journey filled with joy, wonderment, friendship, faith and love, James H. “Jim” Tanner passed away on November 6, 2023.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, C.H. “Bill” Tanner and Minnie Mae Adair Tanner, and his brother, the Reverend George A. Tanner. He leaves behind to cherish his memory and legacy his loving wife of 62 years, Marilynn Clark Tanner, a host of nieces and nephews, beloved in-laws, and a continent full of friends.

A graveside service officiated by the Reverend Chris Hemund will be at CedarVale Cemetery at 2:00 on November 15. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Village United Methodist Church (villageumc.net).
