Lee (Lola) M. Schewe

Lee (Lola) M. Schewe, 85 years young, formally from Hot Springs Village and within the last year resident at the Atrium, went to be with our Heavenly Father on October 18th, 2021.

Lee was born February 4, 1936, to John and Leona Ahearn in Mount Vernon, Ohio. In her career, Lee worked at Illinois Bell System for Technical Education. During her time in the Village she and her husband Howard, were active members at Faith Lutheran Church and within their community.

Lee is preceded in death by her husband Howard and her son, Tom. Lee is survived by her children Dave and Terri, her stepchildren Rhonda, Scott and Renee and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lee had an enormous zest for life especially for her friends, family and pets that she cherished over the years. With a heart of gratitude she leaves this world blessing each and every one of us with laughter and joy.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 22nd, 2021, at CedarVale Funeral Home Chapel at 11:00 AM.
