Mack Keith

Mack Keith, 93 years old, of Hot Springs Village passed away January 5, 2022, at his home in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. He was born in Tyler, Texas, on June 2, 1928 to Mack and Lela Keith. He was preceded in death by his wife Evaline who passed away on June 24, 2016 having been married for 68 years.

He is survived by his children Lois Pesz, Bettye Bivans, and Mackey Keith, and Debbie Brown (husband TJ) affectionately known as “his third daughter.” He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Lisa Pesz (husband John), Justin Pesz, Crispin Bivans (wife Ramona), Holly Brown (husband Wayne), Matthew (wife Liza), Ashley Keith, and 11 great grandchildren: Jayden Howard-Regan; Nathan Bivans; Kirsten, Isaac, Isabella, Kinsey Joy, Brooklyn and Boaz Brown; Camilla and Marcus Keith; and Tessa Boldt.

Mack loved golf which was what brought him to the Village in 1988 after his retirement from Anderson Clayton in Houston in 1985. He was an active golfer for 60 years during his working career and after moving to the Village. He served as MGA Tournament Director for several years. He was also a volunteer in the local AARP Tax Aide service for 15 years.
The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff of Arkansas Hospice for their exceptional loving care provided during the last few days of Mack’s life.

A memorial celebration is planned on his birthday, June 2, 2022, at 1:00 pm at CedarVale Funeral Home.
