Michael Francis McDonald, 76 of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, formerly of Chesterfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully with family by his side, on September 9, 2020. Mike was born February 3, 1944 in Miami, Florida. He dutifully served for the United States Army in Korea. Mike began his career at Emerson in St. Louis, Missouri, where he proudly worked with friends and colleagues for over 47 years.

Mike was married to his first wife, Sandra, in 1965. They raised two boys together, Shaun and Tim. After retirement in 2011, Mike and Sandra moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, where Sandra passed. Soon Mike found friendship and love again and married Janet. Together they treasured friends, visiting family and golfing. Mike's two favorite pastimes were golfing and fishing; he was especially proud of his three hole in ones and his last outing to Lake Ouachita with his son Tim.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Dorothy McDonald, his brothers Bob and Larry, and his beloved wife, Sandra. He is survived by his loving wife Janet, his two sons Shaun and Tim (Gretchen) his pride and joys and his cherished granddaughters Mackenzie and Payton. Also survived by his sister Jeanette (Michael) Sage.

He will be greatly missed by his family, golfing buddies and "Last Chance" group.

There will be a private committal service for Mike at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, October 30, 2020 at 11:15AM.
