Rita Marie Fordham

Rita Fordham,80, passed away February 26, 2022 at home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter and grandson.

She is survived by sisters Elaine Gregoie of Oregon and Enid Williams of Kansas; and
brother, Lloyd Sauberan; children Deborah, Christine and Roger; five grandchildren; as well as, six great-grandchildren.

Rita was a scrub nurse in the OR for many years.
She had many interests, her favorite being playing cards.
“Hand and foot” was her favorite game.
She loved to hand sew never a job to small- be it doll slippers, or needlepoint which she excelled at. She did many large works of art over the years.

Rita had many life- long friends who were only a phone call away.
She loved living in the village and enjoyed her clubs, Mis Amigas and The Book Club.
The club members were her Forever Friends.

She will be always loved, never forgotten and forever missed.

We would also like to thank all the ICU nurses at St Vincent Infirmary who helped us on our journey, and to Arkansas Hospice’s caring staff.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held 10am Friday, March 11, 2022 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 295 Balearic Road, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909.
