Ruby Hensley

Ruby Lee Hensley, age 91, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2022.
Born in Zafra, Oklahoma, Ruby married her late husband, Glenn J. Hensley and spent most of her life in Northern California before retiring to Hot Springs Village and Dallas, Texas. Ruby attended the University of the Pacific where she obtained a BA and did further graduate work in education. In 1978 Ruby was a candidate for California Teacher of the Year.
Ruby is survived by her son, Steven Hensley, her granddaughter Jennie Valentine Hoffbauer and her grandson Jason Valentine. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10 AM at Cedarvale Funeral Home in Hot Springs Village.
Memorial Donations may be sent to Texas Husky Rescue where she worked as a foster volunteer.
