Wayne L. Singel

Wayne L Singel, 81 of the Hot Springs Village, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2020. He was born on February 20, 1938 in Melrose Park, IL. Wayne is survived by his wife of 51 years, three children; Laura Singel Rogers, Grandsons; Caleb, Ethen and Greg Fox (Carol), Jake, Jeff Fox (Sharon), Miles, and Ian. Wayne proudly served the U.S. in the Army in Korea as a Signal Corpsman. Following the Army, he joined the Fire Service. He retired after 26 years , Five years with the Melrose Park Illinois fire department, and 21 years with Elk Grove Village, Illinois attaining the rank of Captain. Wayne loved the Village with all its beauty especially the golf courses and lakes. This was his heaven on earth. Services will be held on February 15, 2020 at CedarVale Chapel at 10:00 AM in the Hot Springs Village, AR, the family has requested that in lieu of flowers please donate to Arkansas Hospice, 508 Ouachita Ave, Suite A, Hot Springs, AR. 71901.
