We are deeply saddened to share that are beloved Dan Holcomb passed away last night after a long fight with cancer.
Dan Holcomb went to his heavenly home on September 2, 2020.
Hugh D Holcomb Jr, was born on October 6, 1954 in Germany to Hugh and Dotty Holcomb. Dan grew up in Lawton, Oklahoma where he graduated from MacAruther High School in 1972. Then went to Cameron University for business administration and accounting.
He married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Connie (Rejda) Holcomb on December 21, 1974 in Lawton Oklahoma and they would spend the next forty-seven blissful years together.
Dan worked for the Army & Air Force Exchange, Beatrice Foods Co. and Frito Lay as a commissioned salesman for 13 years and District Manager in Lawton, Ok and then Zone Business Manager in Oklahoma City retiring after 36 Years of service in 2015. Dan loved socializing with his Frito Family he went back after retiring as often as possible to see everyone.
Dan’s true passion was in sales he never met a stranger he loved the interaction with people, everyone was drawn to his outgoing personality. He will always be remembered for his love of helping others. Dan has always enjoyed spending time with his family and watching the OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. He loved his retirement home in Hot Springs Village, Ar. Spending time with his dog’s on the lake, fishing, boating, golfing, bowling, and spending time with new found friends.
He will forever be missed by all the lives he touched.
Dan was preceded in death by his father Hugh D. Holcomb Sr. and grandparents.
Dan Holcomb will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 47 years, Connie Holcomb of the home. His mother Dotty Holcomb, Chino Valley, AZ. One sister and brother-in law Missy and Mike Deermore, Chino Valley, Az. One brother Keith Holcomb and Karen FL, 2 brother in-laws Ken Rejda and wife Lawton, OK Larry Rejda Duncan, OK a sister in- law Carolyn Baker Elgin, OK.
