Kenneth N. Bauman, 84, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, passed away at his home surrounded by his family Sunday, December 10, 2023. He was born August 9, 1939 in Columbia, Louisiana, to the late Benjamin Foy and Mollie (Long) Bauman. Ken is preceded in death by both of his parents, his daughter Cynthia Bauman Abbott and his brother Harold Bauman.
Ken is survived by his wife Judy J. Bauman, his daughter Kimberly Owens of Argyle, Texas and grandson Beaux Owens also of Argyle, Texas, and his sister-in-law Alma Bauman of Sterlington, Louisiana along with a host of other family and friends.
Ken was a proud United States Army Veteran. He was a retired teacher and a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Also he spent years as a football coach where he mentored many young men into great leaders and men. He loved watching his grandson’s weekly football games and spending free time with him.
Service will be held Friday, December 15, 2023, 11:00 am at the CedarVale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jim Burns of Hot Springs Village officiating. Burial will be at CedarVale Cemetery immediately following with Military Honors. Pallbearers will be Bill Barnard, Gregg Cudworth, Brett Gause, Tom Lamay, Delett Edwards, Cecil Oradat and Charlie Chadwell.
