Larrie George Yeich, a man of honor and dedication, bid farewell to this world on August 2nd, 2024, following a short unexpected illness. Born on May 23, 1934, in Akron, Ohio, Larrie's journey was one characterized by remarkable achievements and unwavering commitment to his loved ones.

Larrie’s professional life was defined by loyalty and excellence. Having worked at the Peabody Hotel in Memphis for 11 years, and later at Lemm Org Service for 5 years, Larrie was known for his strong work ethic and passion for his craft. He graduated from Memphis State Technical Institute with an Associate of Applied Science degree in September 1983, a testament to his dedication to continuous learning and growth. Moving to Hot Springs Village in 1992 and becoming a Master Rock finder.

A veteran who proudly served his country, Larrie's service in the United States Navy began Oct 1, 1951 and became an Airedale retiring as a Chief Petty Officer July 2, 1976 at Millington, Tennessee, was one of his proudest accomplishments. His 25 years of service exemplified his unwavering commitment to duty and honor. Larrie was a Master Mason, and a member of the Whittington Lodge #365 for 18 years, 5 years as treasurer. With a total membership of 61 years. Larrie was a faithful parishioner of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas.

Larrie's memory will forever be cherished by those he held dear. He had many chapters in his life and the last 10 years added World Traveler to his list with his wife Marie. He is survived by his wife, Marie C Nowacki Yeich, as well as his nieces, nephews, and his two beloved fur babies, Luna and Skyler. In the midst of their grief, may they find solace in the cherished moments shared with Larrie, whose love and kindness touched the lives of many.

He is preceded in death by his father, George Yeich, his mother, Wilda Bumgurder Yeich, and his first wife, Nancy Yeich. Their memory lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved Larrie.

In honoring Larrie, we remember a man of integrity, dedication, and kindness. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of service and love will endure for generations to come. May he rest in peace, knowing that he was truly loved and respected by all who had the privilege to know him.
