Leo Edward Davis, born on February 15, 1930, in Temple, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2025, in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He lived a life characterized by dedication, hard work, and a deep commitment to his and family.
Leo career was marked by his skills as a laborer, pipefitter, and construction manager, where he earned a reputation for his strong work ethic and exemplary leadership. His contributions to the field were appreciated by colleagues and clients alike.
In addition to his professional achievements, Leo proudly served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged, embodying the values of service and devotion. His military service remained an important part of his identity throughout his life.
He was a lifetime member of several organizations that reflected his interests and values, including the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks, Lodge #380 in Hot Springs, Arkansas, the National Rifle Association, the Hot Springs Village Players, and the Hot Springs Village Men's Cooking Club. These affiliations highlighted his active engagement in community and social activities.
Leo leaves behind his beloved daughter, Denise Lee (Davis) Andrews, and son, Robert Wayne Davis. He was predeceased by his cherished wife, Barbara "Bobbie" Jean (Munger), and his brother, L. Wayne Davis.
A Celebration of Life will be held on May 9, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Cedar Vale Funeral Home, located at 200 Minorca Rd, Hot Springs Village, Arkansas 71909.
Leo Edward Davis will be remembered for his kindness, commitment to family, and the impactful legacy he leaves behind. His spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
