Monica Lollar
January 17, 1967 – September 6, 2024
Monica Lollar, 57, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas left this world and went to the arms of her Savior on September 6, 2024.
Monica was born January 17, 1967 in Denver, Colorado to Charles Jones & Kathleen Sanne Drum. Her career was spent working in supply chain and material management, all in the manufacturing industry.
Monica was always busy volunteering in the community. She was an integral part of the Evening Lion’s Club. She started as a secretary for the HSV Players and moved up to Vice President before her illness. During the performances she was the Sound Effects and Lighting Technician. She was also a part of the monthly Newcomers Group which hosts an informational event once every month.
She was a faithful member of Balboa Baptist Church and a big part of the Balboa Women’s Ministry. She was the leader of the women’s Maker’s Makers (this is a sewing, knitting, crocheting group) as her hobby was crocheting, and she helped make the teddy bears and got them to the policemen so they could be passed out. You could always find a smile in the Outreach Center whenever Monica was volunteering; whether she was in pain or not, you never knew.
She loved to walk the HSV trails with her dog, Graci, who now has a home with Max and Linda Winslow.
She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brother, Mike Jones of Cypress, California.
Arrangements were made and directed by CedarVale Funeral Home, the only funeral home inside the Hot Springs Village. Guests may register at cedarvalefuneralhome.com
