Pamela Lynn Palis-Kalisz, 68, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away on August 8th, 2021, at the National Park Medical Center.

Pam was born on March 18th, 1953 to Robert Palis and Claire Wheeler and is survived by her husband, Patrick, her two sons, Christopher and Sean, and her daughter, Kara.

Pamela grew up in Berwyn, Illinois before moving to Bloomington-Normal to attend Illinois State University and spent time in various cities in the Chicagoland area as a high school teacher and theatre director.

Pamela went to work for United Airlines as a flight attendant as well as other positions as a trainer, in-flight supervisor, program developer and Purser.

Pamela met Patrick the love of her life and settled in Oswego, Illinois to raise their family. As a flight attendant, her duties took her across the globe to destinations like Anchorage, San Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Dusseldorf and Hong Kong and her kids loved the many cultural souvenirs she would bring back.

After retiring for United Airlines, she went back to teaching High School and obtained her master's degree from Governor's State University.

She was an avid collector of movie props and collectibles.  In her free time, she spent time leading workshops revolved around the beauty and necessity of humor.

After retiring, she and Patrick moved to Hot Springs Village, Arkansas where she directed local plays, worked as a radio host for the local station KVRE, as personality Pamela Rae and was involved in the Arkansas Pet Rabbit Network.

For (8) years up to 2020, Pamela was a care giver for her father until he passed away.

Lastly, Pamela's corner stones for life are honesty, sincerity, kindness and inspired by life.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 20, 2021 at CedarVale Funeral Home Chapel from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
