Ruth Anna Hubert Breckon of Hot Springs Village died Saturday, August 28, 2021 at the Arkansas Hospice Inpatient Unit in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was predeceased by her three husbands, Billy Joe Graves, Dr. Louis Nickell and Richard L. Breckon.
Ruth was born to the late Randolph M. and Annie Laura Benson Hubert in Atlanta, GA. She was a professional model at age 14, a commercial pilot at age 18 and a U.S. Marine at age 20. Upon her honorable discharge from the Marine Corp., she worked for the federal government at various military bases in the United States and Europe including NATO in Europe.
Survivors include Dr. Mickey A. Benson, of Longmeadow, Massachusetts and numerous other cousins.
A Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated by Father Bill Elser at 11:00am, Thursday, September 9th at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Hot Springs Village, AR to be immediately followed by interment in the Memorial Garden of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hot Springs Village. Military honors will be conducted at the interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 295 Balearic Road, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 or Arkansas Hospice, 14 Parkstone Circle, N. Little Rock, AR 72116.
