Wilma “Jean” Naylor passed away peacefully on January 5. 2020.
She was born in Dallas, Texas on February 28, 1929 to Wilma Opal and Albert Sydney Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and by her devoted husband of 68 years, Edward Leon Naylor as well as her great niece, Sydney Myna Thweatt.
Mrs. Naylor is survived by her only child, Cynthia Taylor, husband, Ted, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; her granddaughter, Alison Dittmann, husband, Dennis, and by her great granddaughter, Bentley Dittmann, all of Schomburg, Germany. She is also survived by her sister, Sydney Huffines, her nephew, James Thweatt and his wife, Lynette, and by her niece, Becky Thweatt, all of Dallas, Texas.
Mrs. Naylor graduated from Crozier Tech High School in Dallas and attended North Texas State College. She enjoyed playing bridge with her beloved “Bridge Club” for 35 years as well as traveling the world with her devoted husband, Edd, and their dear friends, James and Zelda Raines. A woman of many interests, she enjoyed both dabbling in oil painting and playing the stock market. She will be missed for her examples for strength, humor and devotion to her family. She was a lifelong Baptist.
Graveside services are Thursday, January 16, 2020 at 10:00AM at Arkansas State Veteran’s Cemetery, 1501 W. Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR, 72120.
